It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since I took over the Writer’s Craft in 2011 and established the tone of peer-to-peer stories about the writing experience. To judge by responses the formula is a successful one.

And if you’re reading this, you are the kind of person who should be considering writing for the column in 2013.

Had an epiphany? Mastered a grammatical vexation? Any detail drawn from the writing experience is fair game so long as it’s real and the story you tell ends with an invitation to find out what others think about the issue. Controversy welcome.

So think about submitting. No, write us something! Put it in your calendar. Or think about it when you have that sudden moment of clarity and wish you had a fellow writer at your elbow to share it with.

Send submissions to lynda@okalrel.org and david@okalrel.org with an image and bio to accompany them.

And good writing in 2013!
